- Noise and vibration analysis and control for spacecraft, automobiles, construction equipment, aircraft, and consumer products

- Analysis of vibration transmission in complex structures including submarine hull structures, helicopter airframe structures, engines, and ship propulsion gearing

- Noise control design for habitability in ships, aircraft and buildings

- Machinery and power plant noise control and design

- Analysis of failure due to acoustic and vibration environments

- Design of exterior hull coating for target strengths, radiated noise, habitability and sonar array hydrophone applications.
